On February 8, 2025, during the first day of the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix in Sydney, the Australian team, captained by Tom Slingsby, put on a fantastic performance. They won two out of four races, came third in the first race, and secured second place in the second race. By the end of the day, they were leading the scoreboard.

On day two of the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix in Auckland, Australia snagged a win despite tough conditions with winds hitting 45 km/h. Led by Tom Slingsby, the Aussie team secured their final spot by winning the first race of the day. In the final race, they beat out Spain and Great Britain, marking their first victory since last season's San Francisco event. Now, Australia holds third place on the leaderboard, sharing the spot with Spain and trailing just behind Great Britain and New Zealand.
